Design Consultation
Our design consultations kick off with a meeting in the client’s home. A home should feel individual so we listen to how the client lives, how they entertain, their style and preferences, and their goals for their project. We develop a Design Plan that offers creative solutions for the room or home and works within your timeline and budget.
Design Plans could include one or all of the following: selection of paint colors, wall coverings, furniture, fabrics, window treatments, lighting, flooring, hardware, accessories, kitchens, baths and more as well as management of contractors and craftspeople.
Space Planning
Have you ever purchased a sofa, only to realize it doesn’t fit your space? Do you feel lost when deciding whether you need an accent chair or a side table? Our space planning services include floor plans, furniture layout, and placement based on in-person measurements and discussion of space utilization.
Color Consultation
Color can dramatically change the look and feel of a space, but choosing the right color can be daunting. During a color consultation, we bring color samples, color fan decks, and fabric swatches to your home to identify the colors that speak to you. We create a color palette for interior and exterior surfaces as well as wall coverings, fabrics, rugs, and other accessories and decorative accents that work for you and your home’s architectural style.
Source, Select, and Procure
The hardest part of a design project is often knowing where to go for materials, fixtures and furnishings that are both unique and high quality. We have relationships and partnerships with vendors, showrooms, and craftsmen to find the best materials, furniture, fabric, flooring, carpet, and area rugs for your project.
Project Management
Managing a design project is a full-time job, especially if the project stays on time and on budget. We take over the day-to-day management, dealing with every detail, serving as the liaison with architects, builders, vendors, and tradesmen, and overseeing every stage from formulation to completion. We manage material selections, design solutions, and tackle any changes as they come up. You can trust us as the guide, whether it’s one room or a full home.
Construction Design
Whether you’re tackling new construction or a full renovation, the sequential steps of the project, project details and decisions can be overwhelming. We step in to collaboratively work with our clients, architects, builders, vendors, and craftsmen throughout every stage of the project. Custom Treatments
A space that is totally customized to your tastes will often involve custom treatments for windows, bedding, pillows, seat cushions, upholstery, and slipcovers. We work collaboratively with our workroom to bring these beautiful custom pieces in high quality fabrics to life.
